The Amazing Acorn Race is Empire Oaks' biggest annual fundraiser and one of our favorite school traditions!
Each year, our Mighty Acorns come together for an exciting fun run filled with energy, school spirit, and lots of smiles. But it's more than just a race, it's an opportunity for our entire school community to rally together and make a lasting difference for our students.
How Does It Work?
Leading up to the race, students are encouraged to collect donations from family, friends, and community supporters. Along the way, fun challenges, prizes, and incentives help build excitement and encourage participation.
The fundraiser wraps up with a school-wide celebration where students enjoy a fun-filled race day, complete with music, activities, and plenty of cheering!
Where Does the Money Go?
Funds raised help make possible:
- Classroom & Teacher Support: Grants, supplies, and educational resources.
- Field Trips & Enrichment: Hands-on learning experiences, assemblies, and special programs.
- Campus Improvements: Projects that enhance our school's facilities and learning environment.
- Community Events: School traditions and celebrations that bring families together.
- Teacher & Staff Appreciation: Recognizing the dedicated people who make our school special.
